Summer feeling on the Arlberg

Hiking

St. Anton am Arlberg is a popular holiday region in summer with many hiking opportunities. The extensive mountain landscape of Kapall, Galzig, Valluga, and Rendl is crisscrossed by 300 kilometers of marked trails, where both experienced tour hikers and leisure walkers can find their own personal favorite route.

The high-alpine landscape is not reserved only for experts – even less experienced alpine fans can enjoy the mountain air on easy tours in St. Anton am Arlberg.

You can reach the top comfortably with the Arlberg cable cars. Once up there, well-marked routes of varying difficulty levels await, with around 30 opportunities to stop – from alpine huts to mountain restaurants.

Mountain biking

Biking in the mountains around St. Anton – more than 3,800 kilometers of official mountain bike routes make Tyrol a first-class biking region. Naturally, St. Anton am Arlberg is part of it. The "Best of the Alps" tourist resort offers a rewarding network of mountain bike trails with a total of around 200 kilometers of particularly scenic routes. All trails are well signposted, marked, and a pleasure to ride!

The markings are uniform throughout Tyrol and indicate the degree of difficulty – as with ski slopes.

Mountain bikers will find something for every taste around St. Anton am Arlberg: easy trails for warm-ups amid lush meadows and shady forests, moderately selective routes with gentle climbs and sporty challenges, as well as steep routes for the toughest bikers.

Golf

Golf is booming all over the world. The fascination is great – hitting the small white ball into the distant hole with as few strokes as possible. And the attraction is strong, especially when a superstar drives, chips, and putts from success to success on the world’s fairways, inspiring the younger generation.

Everyone wants to give it a try. In fact, there are no age limits – neither too young nor too old – to start with this captivating game.

But where does one begin? Where can you take your first steps on the neatly trimmed greens under expert guidance? Where do you not have to be a club member right away to try out the driver, the 6-iron, or the putter?
